The profiles are very handy, i have one set up for each of my common batch sizes 10L 19L 23L and scaling recipes is easy between them. Brad Smith has been working on building out a web version that has recipe creation features (I think right now it is just for viewing and sharing recipes, with some calculators.this site I think ). Yes beersmith is definitly worth buying if you want to play with recipes and especially if you are an all grain brewer. While BeerSmith does have it’s faults, the newest update addressed many pitfalls and it continues to modernize. There is pretty decent integration between the Mobile app and the Web/Cloud recipes as well. Homebrewers have long had a love/hate relation with BeerSmith, one of the pioneers of brewing software. I have been quite happy with the features and UI of the web editor. My favorite feature of BeerSmith is the recipe organization. I have since switched to BeerSmith and I am very happy.

This was mostly motivated by the fairly new web editing features at. When we started this blog site I was just getting into using BeerTools Pro as my brewing software. After just using BeerSmith Mobile for the past few years, I picked up a BeerSmith license.
